Anthem MCA Series
The 225 is the entry specification power amplifier of the MCA range. The amplifier has 2 channels with 225w of power to each into 8 Ohms. Anthem MCA Gen 2 amplifiers have a high current output which give lower amounts of distortion for better audio quality at higher volumes. The standby power for the MCA 225 is less than 2 watts making it really power efficient when not in use.
As a step up from the 225, the MCA 325 has 3 output channels, again with each channel capable of 225w. The MCA 325 is again very efficient when on standby and in use making the most out of all the available energy. The highest spec of the MCA series is the 525; having 5 output channels again with an available 225w per channel into 8 Ohms.
The whole series offers extreme power and dynamics to your chosen speakers. At full load the MCA series can produce 600 clean watts into 2 Ohm loads. Both power supply impedance and internal cabling inductance are minimised to deliver a clear path for maximum power, even in the most demanding conditions. While the other 5-channel amps often use a single power supply for all channels, the new MCA 525 features two oversized power supplies. The result is full bursts of power – instantly without affecting channel separation.

Advanced Load Monitoring
Across the whole range, advanced load monitoring is in action. ALM workb s by monitoring internal temperature, current and voltage to ensure safe and uninterrupted long-term operations. This works as a failsafe if a fault should arise.
