There’s always an element of concern when a manufacturer takes a much-loved product back to the drawing board, but far from adopting an “if it ain’t broke…” mantra, Sennheiser has managed to build successfully on everything we loved about the originals.
They’ve retained their looks, but now boast extra portability and improved sound quality.
As far as premium portable headphones are concerned, the Momentum 2.0s tick all the boxes, and then some.
What are the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0?
The Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 are the revised version of Sennheisr’s incredibly popular Momentum range of headphones. They’re full-size, style-driven headphones that perform just as well as the look. The basics of the Momentum range haven’t changed too much – sound quality, the look and most of the basic features are pretty much the same.
If you already own and love the first Sennheiser Momentum pair, you won’t notice a huge improvement over the original, but Sennheiser have addressed some minor niggles in the original range… such as revisions to the size of some of the ear pieces (some customers found the on ear headphones just a little too small).

1. On Ear –
Smaller earphone cup to sit on the ear, available in iOS and Android version
2. On Ear Wireless-
As above, but with Bluetooth APTx for wire free listening out and about
3. Over Ear –
As it says, larger headphone cup for people who prefer that all encompassing sound.
4. Over Ear Wireless –
As above, but with Bluetooth APTx for wire free listening out and about
