Ready for a little deja-vu? Yes? Well, in which case, I have a few questions for you. And, if you’d read last weeks blog about this particular item’s little brother, you may recognise them.

1: Have you heard of Yamaha MusicCast?

2. Do you actually know what it’s about?

Well, we’ve already covered both of those things in detail in this blog. And if you’ve read it, you know that MusicCast covers so many different products and devices (and lots of different types of ones at that!) that it was impossible to go into detail about the specific bits and pieces that make up the giant, interconnecting (and not to mention versatile!) web that MusicCast provides.

Next up under our spotlight, we have something that’s a little more high-end…

That thing that likes to hang out next to houseplants is the gorgeous Yamaha ISX-80 Wireless Speaker . And it looks awesome. Everywhere.

It’s a similar deal to it’s sibling, the WX-030. It’s a stylish, compact and versatile wireless speaker which fits (like a dream!) with any and all things MusicCast. It can stand alone, or it can be a (particularly stylish!) strand of the grand MusicCast multi-room web. However you chose to use it, it will make you very happy indeed. It’s the ‘model-up’ and it has the edge in every department.

Based on the design of the ludicrously popular Yamaha Restio, this is more than just a speaker. It is wall art! Well, not just wall art. It will happily sit on a surface and look pretty too. But there is far more to this speaker than just its stunning good looks) although, we must confess, in this age of lifestyle hi-fi, those looks are wonderfully appealing!)

It sounds good, and it does good. It works beautifully alone, or with more. Dot them around the house in your choice of colour: black, white and purple. Heck, go for the combo! At £300, this model-up is still affordable, and will provide excellent sound quality and build design in a sleek and discreet package that people will notice for all the right reasons – maybe even before they notice it’s playing music!

Want a closer look? Then give us a shout. We have one ready and on demo, and we won’t be parting with it any time soon!
