Audio visual (AV) and home cinema encompasses everything you need to create an immersive cinema like experience at home for watching movies, shows, gaming and more. This setion will include blogs on the visual side of home cinema (projectors, projector screens) and the audio side (AV receivers, blu ray/4K UHD players, 5.1 speaker packages and associated equipment).

A good home cinema sound system (generally a 5.1 speaker package and AV receiver) can be built around your existing LED/plasma/4K screen. However, we tend to focus on projectors and projector screens as nothing beats a full front projection install for a full on cinema experience at home.

WIth a high end projector from the likes of JVC, Sony or Epson along with a tailor made screen (we tend to recommend Grandview) you can achieve an impressive 7 foot, 8 foot, 9 foot or even 10 foot image (across the diagonal) in 1080P or 4K resolution. We're big fans of such big images, so you'll find plenty of projector blogs in this section.

On the sound side, our blogs will focus on 5.1 speaker packages, Atmos solutions, AV receivers (or multi channel pre/power amps), 4K/UHD and blu ray players (like Oppo) or more convenient equipment like "home cinema in a box" type solutions and soundbars.
