Dali Oberon C series features the Oberon 1C, 7C and on wall C active speaker range. The Oberon 1C is an entry-level, two-way bookshelf designed active speaker.
It features a 29mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter for crisp high frequencies and a 5.2″ wood fibre cone, SMC bass/midrange driver and rear reflex-loaded cabinet for an optimal balance between internal bass performance and compact dimensions for smaller rooms.
Powering the 1C is two 50 Watt-peak, closed-loop Class-D power amplifiers chosen specifically for their sound quality and dynamic ability. One amplifier powers the high-frequency driver and one powers the bass/mid driver.
Dali Oberon C – 7
The Oberon 7C is the flagship of the Dali Oberon C range, set up as an active two-way unit that’s of floor standing nature. The 7C uses a damped textile soft dome tweeter featuring an unusually light diaphragm and a larger than typical, 29mm diaphragm and voice-coil. The low and mid frequencies are looked after by a pair of 7″ low-loss bass/mid drivers that feature proprietary fine paper pulp and reinforced wood fibre composite diaphragm materials, which creates a stiff, light-weight and well-behaving structure. In combination with a low-loss surround and spider suspension, this cone reproduces the micro details in the signal. The 7C uses the same set up of two 50 Watt-Peak Class-D amplifiers to power its drivers giving a clean and precise sound.
Dali Oberon C – Wall
Finally, Wall C is a slim wall-mounted speaker designed to find its place in any size room. The box fully utilises a 5.25” DALI wood fibre cone driver featuring SMC, and a DALI ultra-lightweight 29mm soft dome tweeter. The Wall C also features the C Series standard 50 Watt Class-D amplifier. The whole range comes in the finishing option of either Black ash, Light Oak , Dark Walnut or plain White. making it a stylish and modern looking speaker which will seamlessly fit into any surrounding.
Passive Oberon Range
The Oberon range is a stylish addition to any home in all applications. The range comes in multiple forms – The Oberon 1 is designed for bookshelf use, Oberon 3 for stand mount use being a larger cabinet. While the 5 and 7 are both free-standing floor speakers. In addition to these, the range extends to the ‘Oberon On-Wall ‘ for discreet looks and the ‘Vokal’ designed for home cinema or home theatre use.
The Oberon 1 has a larger 29mm soft dome tweeter for the highs and detailed mids, while the SMC based 5.25″ wood fibre woofer renders the lower midrange and well-timed bass. The Oberon 3 features the same 29mm tweeter, however, has a larger 7” wood fibre (SMC based) woofer for surprising coherent and well-timed bass. The Oberon 5 is a floor-standing speaker with two 5¼” wood fibre SMC based woofers and the same 29mm soft dome tweeter. The high range models being the Oberon 7 with the ultimate specification in Hi-Fi audio and a true show of Dali’s forward-thinking stance and flexibility within the market. It has two 7” woofers to give a full body to the audio and works seamlessly with the Oberon 29mm tweeter for precise high-frequency output.
