The speaker is a true 2-way compact unit holding a 4¾” wood fibre woofer matched with a new large 29 mm soft dome tweeter originating from the classic CALLISTO series. The OPTICON 1 MK2 is available in Satin Black, Satin White and Tobacco Oak giving it a Morden and stylish look with a timeless sound.
Dali Opticon 2 Mk2 Speakers (Pair)
The Opticon 2 MK2 is a mid-sized stand mount speaker with 6½” woofer and a 29 mm soft dome tweeter. It gives an extremely natural and clear sound that allows for maximum listening pleasure. The speaker offers a fantastic frequency range of 59 – 25,000 allowing for every aspect of your music to be reproduced in superb detail.
Dali Opticon 6 Mk2 Speakers (Pair)
The Opticon 6 Mk2 is the first in the range of floor standing speakers, offering superior low-frequency response adding more depth and texture to the sound. Inside the Opticon 6 is a 29 mm soft dome with a custom 17 x 45 mm ribbon that is mounted on a cast aluminium faceplate to handle to high frequencies. Along with these two wood fibre 6½” drivers act as woofers to handle all the other aspects of the audio. The frequency range is 49 – 30,000hz which further expends the high level of quality that the Dali Opticon MK2 series is known for.

The Opticon 8 Mk2 is the flagship in the mk2 range offering the most output and performance for the most demanding of applications and spaces. Being a true three-way format, the Opticon 8 MK2 offers a level of performance unavailable from any other Opticon model. The Opticon 8 MK2 offers an extended low-frequency profile that suits installation in large listening spaces with more space between hard surfaces such as walls.
The use of the same 29 mm soft dome tweeter across all six Dali Opticon MK2 models results in consistency of tonal character, where the Opticon 2 mk2 comes into its own is in the woofer technology. The Opticon 8 MK2 combines two 8” bass drivers with a 6½” midrange driver – all build around Dali’s patented SMC magnet motor system.
