Gallo Acoustics RoomSub Subwoofer Range

Developed to be equally comfortable with music or movie soundtracks, the RoomSub delivers powerful yet controlled bass from deceptively compact cabinets that exude quiet, considered minimalism. The subwoofers come in two sizes the 8” woofer/200W rated RoomSub8, and the 10” woofer/300W rated RoomSub10.

Technology Featured

Both Sub 8 and 10 have groundbreaking new technology that allows the speaker to perform at its best all the time producing perfect bass tones. To achieve a powerful, yet controlled bass performance, the RoomSub 10 uses a 10” down-firing woofer and results in defined and rich bass performance.

The RoomSub 8 is the lower-powered model featuring a 200w D class power amplifier that drives an 8″ woofer with PP cone and NBR surround. This develops rich and well-formed bass notes that resonate throughout your whole space. The larger  RoomSub 10 uses a 300w D class power amplifier that works at a high-performance level to ensure superb power and quality at all times.

The Room-Sub 10 uses a larger 10″ woofer with PP cone and NBR surround to suit larger spaces and accompany bigger full-range systems. This technology allows both units to output a very impressive frequency response of 32hz to 160hz (150 for 8″). This wide upper range allows for lots of scopes when deciding a crossover frequency that is dependant on your other full-range system.

The Room Sub range by Anthony Gallo has been designed to compliment all of the other Loudspeaker ranges, such as the Strada 2 and the Micro, providing the much needed low-end bass for music and movies. The RoomSub 10 sub comes in a choice of satin black and satin white finishes, which are perfect for most room decors, and for most hi-fi systems.

Conclusion

In conclusion, both the Room Sub 8 and 10 offer supreme bass tones that enhance any high-fidelity system. Whether that’s a home cinema system or simply a set of speakers in your living room for your own personal enjoyment, the Subsystem adds that extra depth and richness to your overall sound. If you’re looking for greater sound for larger spaces, the 10″ model is ideal however if you only require a sub for a small space the 8″ is the best choice.
