This package adds the excellent Tannoy DC4T Floorstanding Speakers with the Tibo AMP410 Integrated Amplifier, along with 6 metres of QED 72 Strand Speaker Cable to connect the system together.

It also includes the ProJect Essential Turntable and a Phono Box E, along with the relevant interconnects which make up everything you need to listen to vinyl on your own home audio system.

If you’re just starting out in the world of hi-fi and want to get more out of your music collection (digital or otherwise); then this package is designed to introduce you to the world of quality audio equipment. The package is plug-and-play, so within minutes of unboxing these items you’ll be listening to music.

With 3 metres of speaker cable provided, you’ll be able to position your speakers and connect them to the amplifier. The speaker cable is not terminated, meaning all you need to do is unscrew the connections on the back of the speakers, slot the wire through the hole and tightly screw the terminal back together.

Once you’ve repeated this process on both sides for the amplifier and the speakers, you’re then ready to connect your source.

As you can see below, there’s a number of ways to do this…

One of the fastest ways to get your music playing is through an iPod, laptop or digital music player via a 3.5mm jack to phono adapter. In this case, you’ll simply connect the phono leads to the back of the amplifier and plug the 3.5mm end into your iPod, laptop or digital music player. Then it’s just a case of switching on the amplifier, choosing the correct input and there you have it – quality music, in less than 30 minutes!

A turntable produces a Phono output signal. This phono signal needs to be converted to a Line Level signal (sometimes referred to as AUX signal) to work with audio equipment including stereo systems, computers, and speakers. This is why the package comes with a Phono Stage, which allows the Turntable to work with the amplifier.

In this case, the Turntable is connected to the Phono Stage, which is then connected to the Amplifier… Which sends the signal to the speakers.

It’ll take a little time to get your turntable set up, but there’s plenty of help available on the Audio Affair blog. A great place to start is by watching this video of Richard, our vinyl expert, showing you how it’s done.

With this package, you’re all ready to go to listen to vinyl using the ProJect Turntable as the source. Everything you need is provided.
