The JBL HDI range features the HDI-3800, 3600, 1600,4500 and the 1200P. All have different features to suit your applications. The 3800 and 3600 are both floor-standing speakers while the 1600 and 4500 are bookshelf or desktop models, and the 1200P is a subwoofer unit. All models in the HDI range are designed and engineered in JBL’s world-famous acoustic engineering facility in Northridge. 

JBL HDI-1600 

1600 is a bookshelf /desktop speaker that delivers exceptional performance from a compact enclosure. Utilising a 2-way design with high definition imaging results in high quality precise high frequencies from the 21mm compression driver. While the other half of the 2-way system comprises of a 6.5-inch advanced aluminium matrix cone woofer for powerful dynamics. The speakers come finished in a choice of automotive-grade high gloss black paint, or furniture-grade satin walnut or gray oak wood veneers. A black magnetically attached cloth grille completes the modern appearance.

 

 

JBL HDI-4500 

The JBL HDI-4500 centre channel design is the perfect complement to a HDI series home surround system. Again featuring high definition imaging, with a 25mm compression driver to create all the high detail required for a home cinema set up. To support the mid and lower frequencies there’s a quad woofer system in place, using four 5.25-inch woofers to accurately recreate precise audio frequencies. Coming in all the same finishes as 1600, it’s a stylish modern looking speaker to suit any room in the house. 

 

JBL HDI -4500

JBL HDI – 3600 

The JBL HDI-3600 delivers exceptional performance from a compact footprint, it’s a floorstanding speaker with a 2 1/2 way system design. With the range standard 25mm compression driver for high detail, it also features triple 6.5-inch advanced aluminium matrix cone woofers for powerful accurate sound reproduction.

The 3600 incorporates a bass-reflex design with dual rear-firing for warm crisp bass frequency reproduction and the perfect transition between the high and low-frequency drivers. The sophisticated curved cabinet features a modern design finished in a choice of automotive-grade paint to the same finish options as the rest of the range.

JBL HDI – 3800

The HDI-3800 follows in the footsteps of the 3600 with the 2 1/2 way setup and floor standing design. However, the 3800 has three 8-inch woofers for premium audio quality at the highest of volumes for home audio use. The unit also features the HDI range 25mm compression driver to couple to the three woofers seamlessly. 

The 3800 is designed for larger home spaces and the ultimate model in the JBL HDI range with premium parts and amazing workmanship benefiting from the skill and research of the team at JBL. 

JBL HDI – 1200P

Wanting to add more low frequency to your set up? 

The 1200P is a subwoofer designed to be the foundation element of the JBL surround system. The system is powered by a 12-inch sub-bass Poly-plas cone woofer driven by a 1,000 Watt amplifier for powerful dynamics and incredibly accurate sound reproduction.

The whole construction is solidly braced making a solid stable foundation and reducing any unwanted rattles of vibrations from adversely affecting the audio quality. This results in a very stable and precise performance from the 1200P. Advanced protection and monitoring ensure that the HDI-1200P will continue to deliver optimal performance under less-than-ideal conditions.
