Klipsch Audio is an American loudspeaker company that was founded in 1946 by Paul W. Klipsch. The Klipsch Cinema Soundbar Range is a game-changer when it comes to home cinema-quality audio at affordable prices. Soundbars benefit from various advantages over conventional surround systems; these include easy installation, minimal wires and modern design making them perfect for small-medium living spaces.

Klipsch Cinema 400

The Cinema 400 is Klipsch’s entry-level soundbar in the series featuring an 8″ subwoofer and wireless connectivity, it sits below the larger Cinema 600 model which has a 10″ subwoofer. The Cinema 400’s class-leading 8” subwoofer is connected wirelessly (wireless 2.4 GHz technology) so that you can place it anywhere in your room without having to worry about cables.

The soundbar itself is 2-way with both a mid and high-frequency driver leaving the separate 8″ sub to look after the low end. The high-frequency tweeters are two 1” soft dome tweeters mated to Tractrix horn for crisp and clean definition. Finally, looking after the mid frequencies is two 3” oval fiber composite cone woofers giving the sound a rounded body and element of warmth.

The Cinema 600 is Klipsch’s Mid-level wireless soundbar in Klipsch’s Cinema series featuring a 10″ subwoofer, it sits above the smaller Cinema 400 model which has an 8″ subwoofer. Again, the Cinema 600 features a wirelessly connected subwoofer but with an upgraded 10″ driver for greater impact. Matching this is an upgraded soundbar, the highs are provided by three 1” soft dome tweeters whilst the mid frequencies are catered for by four 3” oval fiber composite cone woofers.

In addition, Cinema 600 is a 3-way system; this provides a much clearer and emphasized dialogue sound. It also allows the left and right channels to concentrate on the soundtrack and special effects, resulting in a more immersive sound. This allows the Soundbar to keep up with the upgraded subwoofer for the best results when it comes to audio quality and system performance.
