Yes, you’ve probably heard a lot about these already, but we’ll never stop pushing them! The EPH100s are our favourite in-ear headphones and are extremely popular with our customers, outselling every other earphone we stock. Despite their tiny pricetag, their quality of sound is quite sublime. Another firm favourite of ours – and one of the most popular items of the year so far! Most of us at Audio Affair have a pair of these at home. They boast a teeny-tiny footprint (perfect for your PC desk – which they are designed for) but an incredibly big sound, all owed to a unique cabinet design which prevents sound loss and a bass port in the front which helps push the deeper tones forward – eliminating the problems that speakers of this size usually cause. Their sound far surpasses the price tag (over and over again) and we have plenty of them – in all five colours – to ship out in time for Christmas. But be quick!
3. Sennheiser HD800 – £999
They’re not exactly budget-friendly, but we have plenty of these in to make them suffice as a last minute present. They may be high end, but that hasn’t effected their huge popularity. Nothing competes with these beauties, in terms of customer reviews or overal sales, and that’s why we make sure the stocks stay high! Their popularity is due to their advanced driver technology, precision engineered components and use of high-grade materials such as stainless steel and microfibre, the biggest transducers to be used in headphones to date and symmetrically tuned impedance. This all combines to produce a clean, balanced and natural sound. As last minute gifts go, you won’t get much more mind blowing.

Another of our most popular items of the year! Wireless headphones have taken us by storm, and these are the most popular of the lot (hence why we made sure we had plenty of stock in time for the Christmas rush!) 5. Yamaha YSP-2500 Digital Sound Projector – £799
If excellent AV audio is of utmost importance, you won’t get much better than Yamaha’s YSP-2500. This excellent sounbar is widely regarded as one of the finest soundbars money can buy, which is exactly why we made sure we had plenty of them! With a solid aluminium case the YSP-2500 boasts three HDMI outputs, a coaxial, an optical and an analogue which makes it a very effective audio hub. It carries Yamaha’s very own Intellibeam, creating beams of sound which are then reflected off the walls of the room – and six different beam modes for optimum listening (thanks to adjustable speakers) all of which is fully customisable at the touch of your phone or tablet screen. It has every feature you can think of – including wireless streaming – and yet is very easy to set up and operate. If you have the beans, this would make an excellent gift. 6. Yamaha SRT-1000 Soundbase – £499
The SRT-1000 is their first offering to the soundbase collective, but their overwhelmingly extensive experience of producing award winning soundbars and sound projectors truly shines through. It uses Yamaha’s advanced sound projection technology, which creates beams of sound reflecting sound off the walls of your chosen room. These beams are fully adjustable and can be altered at the touch of a remote control or app, achieving 5:1 sound that is indistinguishable from a bonefide surround sound system. Bases may be new, but they’re here to stay. And they make perfect gifts!
7. Wharfedale MS100 5.1 Speaker Package – £199
Could your loved one benefit from a 5.1 surround sound speaker package? Of course they could, everyone can. And by a stroke a sheer luck, we have plenty of black and white in stock to make a few people happy on Christmas Day! The MS100 package normally retails for £349 – but we’ve decided to knock that right down, just for Christmas. 8. KEF LS50 50th Anniversary – £799
Multiple award winners are always hot sellers, so we made sure we were prepared. Whenever a reputable and iconic brand such as KEF release an anniversary edition, you know you’re in for something pretty special. And the LS50s are definitely quite something to behold! And the critics agree – they have scooped pretty much every award in their field, and are still turning heads to this very day. For starters, they look like no other bookshelf speaker – or indeed any sort of speaker – out there. And they offer a rich, deep and detailed sound that their compact size cleverly shields from expectation. A great buy, on every level – and a gift they will certainly remember.
9. Dali Mentor Menuet – £849
These tiny little speakers are the smallest in Dali’s Mentor range. They have been extremely popular from the get go, and this Christmas even more so – so made sure our stocks were full! Yes, they may be small, but to say that these little speakers are suited to small spaces alone would be doing them an injustice: the sound they produce is surprisingly large. Sound-wise they are everything you’d expect from a Dali speaker: full bodied and rich, but they are still small enough that they won’t dominate the space they’re placed in. They make a great ‘starter’ high-fidelity bookshelf speaker, and a pretty perfect hi-fi pressie.
10. Dali Zensor 1 5.1 Speaker Package – £979
Okay… you may have a little difficulty fitting this one under the tree. But it will be there in time for you to work it out! And once it’s unwrapped, they won’t care. The Dali Zensor 1 is an exceptional 5.1 speaker package which managed to scoop a What Hi-fi Award this year (2014) for Best Traditional Speaker Package. It combines two pairs of the award winning Dali Zensor 1 bookshelf speakers, a Dali Zenzor Vokal centre and Dali E-12 F subwoofer, all fantastic speakers in their own right. When working in tandem they are a force to be reckoned with. Clear, open, detailed and deep, everything is covered. It will be worth a little Christmas Tree Tetris… just be quick!
