Linn Klimax Features
Linn’s Klimax DSM supports high-performance 24-bit 384khz streaming, DSD256 audio format support, a complex DAC and comes with many inputs for all your sources. Two variants are available, AV and Audio, which vary in input connections. The device offers an Organik DAC which combines FPGA processing with a discrete conversion stage allowing precise control at every stage of the DAC process. It also offers significantly lower noise and distortion levels and achieves the most accurate recreation of the original music signal.
The newly designed Klimax DSM is stunning throughout, featuring a custom-designed enclosure that provides acoustic isolation. This further improves the sound quality of the system as a whole. It’s machined from solid, special grade aluminium that is fitted with elegant features making it look classy and sleek. The front screen acts like a mirror, which displays key information when active, but becomes invisible when not in use.
The Klimax DSM offers superb connectivity with Toslink, SPDIF, Balanced: XLR, RCA Phono, USB Type B and HDMI inputs, Outputs include Balanced XLR, RCA Phono and HDMI. This allows for superb flexibility when connecting to external devices. Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity support various smart streaming options to further expand the device.
Linn’s Klimax DSM has a high performance, lower distortion ADC design, with its own circuit board and a dedicated power supply to give your connected analogue sources an extra boost.
