Luxman L-595A
This iconic and rare integrated amplifier is outstanding in every way. The L-595A beautifully resembles the highly successful L570 from 1989 with a timeless sound and look that has never aged. The L-595A is a Class A transistor amplifier that is based on the modern circuitry ( 2-step amplification P-K NF type) used in Luxman. It delivers 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 60watts into 4 ohms.
The L-595A has four line inputs. Two balanced and one phono amp circuit for connecting a turntable, which is compatible for both MM and MC cartridges. The L595A comes equipped with some accessories including a high-end aluminium remote controller, the RA-17A. This can also operate compatible CD / SACD players, and a power cable (JPA-15000) exclusively for top-end models. The amplifier has amazing frequency responses with the phono input delivering 20Hz to 20kHz and the line input giving an impressive 20Hz to 100khz!
Luxman CL-1000
The Luxman CL-1000 is an impressive, beautiful sounding, vacuum tube amplifier that closely follows its predecessor the C-1000 from 1975. The CL1000 uses Luxman’s acclaimed LECUA (Luxman Electronically Controlled Ultimate Transformer Attenuator) attenuator system. This allows for rich, detailed and uncompromising sound, even at low volumes. To prevent vibrations from affecting the vacuum from working inappropriately, the Cl-1000 is housed in a rigid box chassis reinforced by internal partitions.
At every stage of the technology development, the Luxman amplifiers try to keep the noise and general contamination of the audio signal path to a minimum. Such circuit designs include a two-stage P-K NF amplification process, super permalloy core transformers, a JJ Electronic E88CC dual-triode vacuum tube and an output stage that incorporates a second E88CC and independent left/right super permalloy output transformers.
Giving the CL-1000 its timeless warm tone is the phono preamplifier, allowing for direct connection to a turntable of your choice with support for both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges. The pre-amplifier itself has a highly stable, extremely potent power supply with a large power transformer plus independent left- and right-channel filter capacitors to provide reliable and stable power at all times.
