Mission QX MKII series is built from the critically acclaimed QX series which was the winner of the What Hi-Fi? Best Standmount £350-£500 in 2018. Mission QX MKII shares the same class-leading performance and distinct design of the original series.
Mission credit the improvements in this incredible new range to the intense hours and hours of listening tests. Some of the enhanced features include state of the art crossover modelling, computer optimisation and laser interferometry.
For the new MKII range, Mission poured over the fine-tuning of the components, crossovers construction and materials to achieve the best speaker performance possible.
Following on from the magnificent LX MKII series, the Mission QX MKII evolves already fantastic loudspeakers to further immerse the listener in premium quality, vibrant audio.
The Mission QX-MKII range includes two updated bookshelf speakers, the QX-1 MKII and the QX-2 MK II , three superb floorstanders; QX-3 MKII, QX-4 MKII and QX-5 MKII as well as the terrific new QX-C MKII centre speaker and the QX-12SUB Subwoofer.
Refreshed Driver Units
The QX MK II drivers are made with a premium acrylic fibre material that ensures rigidity. Similar speakers in this price range usually feature material that can sound harsh, the use of this material sets the QX MKII speakers apart and is designed to achieve brilliant life-like detail from your favourite audio content.
Upgraded Aesthetic Aluminium Top Plate
The upgraded top plate for the QX-4 MKII is made from premium sturdy aluminium material, the overall performance is improved as Mission ensured that the top plate increased the performance of the cabinet structure. The look of the top plate is designed to deliver a pleasing aesthetic when paired with the finishes within this range, including the classic Walnut pearl and the latest finish additions: Black Lux and White Lux. The top plate pairs beautifully with the classic Walnut Pearl finish and the latest luxury finish options.
Ring of Fire
The new QX-4 MK II speakers include a phase plug that improves the extension of high frequencies by preventing the cancellation of HF produced near the centre of the diaphragm. This is achieved without creating unwanted resonance found in traditional domes. With the latest upgrades, you can now experience a greatly enhanced performance in the 10kHz-20kHz range thanks to this addition.
QX-4 MK II Inverted Drive Geometry
Utilising its reliable IDG layout technology found in the previous QX range, the Mission QX-MKII benefits from the bass/midrange driver and treble unit being positioned so that the sound waves merge exactly where the listeners head would be, resulting in a brilliant audio experience.
Serrated Driver Surrounds
The latest driver surrounds look fantastic, but there is so much more to them than that. The Mission QX-MKII surrounds have been designed to utilise air-flow analysis and extremely accurate room measurement which results in a terrifically seamless performance from the ports and drivers alike.
