Optoma UHZ 65LV features an amazing 5000 ANSI lumen capability so it can deliver all the brightness you require and adapt to Lightroom conditions even with the lights on, whilst still producing a crisp, colourful and dynamic image. This makes the UHZ65LV perfect for watching TV shows, sports and movies or gaming with family or friends any time of day.

This is in turn helped by the laser 4k UHD display (8.3 million pixels) quality giving high-res quality from 1.3m ~ 9.3m distance. The unit also delivers increased efficiency to maintain consistent brightness, superior colour performance, instant on/off and an extraordinary life span of up to 30,000 hours. The UHZ65LV is capable of receiving and displaying both HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) content meaning the projector allows you to see far more detail and texture. Using ‘Puremotion’ technology and sophisticated frame-interpolation technology, advanced motion control processing eliminates motion blurring or image judder, even in high-speed action sequences.

The projector has flexible installation possibilities with 1.6x zoom and vertical lens shift adjustment meaning a wider range of projector placement options. This makes it easier to position the projector in your room and enables a wider range of screen size options.

Optoma projectors can display true 3D content from almost any 3D source, including 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation games consoles.

The UHZ65LV has good wire connectivity options on the back panel including; 1 HDMI 2.0, 1 HDMI 3D 1.4a, 1 VGA, and for audio 1 3.5mm audio input for the built-in speaker. And for outputs: 1 3.5mm Audio output, 1 S/PDIF, 1 USB-A Power 1.5A and one 12v trigger.

The UHZ65 UST (Ultra Short Throw) is again an amazing projector with more SMART options when compared directly to the UHZ65LV. This includes app management, voice control and IFTTT capabilities. The voice control opens up options for connectivity to Amazon Alexa or Google Home devices to fully use voice control to your advantage. Applications such as TapCast can be used to easily mirror your Android or IOS /MAC OS devices with the touch of a button.

The audio quality of the built-in speakers is far more advanced on the UST with its own dedicated soundbar built into the front panel of the projector. Designed using a vented enclosure and precision-engineered ports, this compact projector can extend low-pitch and low-frequency soundwaves and can even deliver 360 degrees, omnidirectional sound.

This 4K digital HDR Projector offers cinema-like images, true-to-life colour reproduction and PureMotion frame-interpolation processing. A truly exceptional projector.

The main similarity is that both the UHZ65LV and UHZ65 4k are long-throw projectors typically ceiling-mounted as opposed to the short-throw nature of the UHZ65LV and the UHZ65 UST. The UHZ65 4K has a lower power output with a 3000 lumens laser output.
