Both the X turntables benefit from a Carbon fiber tonearm and new motor isolation system. Pro-Ject X1 Turntable
The smaller brother to the X2, Pro-Ject X1 turntable comes equipped with the Pick-IT S2 MM cartridge. This cartridge it is based on the highly popular Ortofon 2M series cartridge and uses pure silver for a crystal clear performance. The smaller turntable of the two features a slightly smaller 8.6″ carbon and aluminium sandwich construction tonearm which is lightweight and not negatively resonant, providing a real upgrade to turntable performance. The isolated motor drives the non-resonant, high quality acrylic platter with more juice than before for a powerful performance.
