Q Acoustics room - launching new 3000 series

The Bristol Show has come and gone, but the hi-fi world is still buzzing about it! There are always stand out brands and products, and one that has been the talk of the town (before, during and after!) is the marvelous, compact and highly stylish Q Acoustics 3000 series. We’ve had several calls about this fantastic looking and sounding series asking what the scoop is, so we thought we’d up-cycle our last blog on the matter so you know where to get the facts… as well as a little bit about how these beauties sound.

Q Acoustics 3000 range launch demo

Fetchingly modelled by the lovely Q Rep, we were among the first people to get a listen to the new series at the Bristol Show 2015.  Before they were booted up, we were already very impressed by how compact they were, and the sleek and understated design that still managed to turn a few heads. Less can often by more, particularly in the hi-fi realm, and there’s a beautiful simplicity surrounding this 5.1 system. They are built with synchronicity in mind, with very simple (yet very effective) components that are shared and fine tuned across the range. They work beautifully apart, and even better together. It’s a simple fact that synchronicity is a winning formula in any 5.1 system.

How does it sound? Clear, calm and composed. Q have really hit the nail on the head with harnessing a level of balance that still manages to remain dynamic. Not bad for a system that will set you back less than £700 if bought as a package, eh? The entire series has been designed from the ground up, delivering a smörgåsbord of new, evolutionary and revolutionary technologies that work beautifully in both an audio and an AV setting. And the colours are simply ravishing.
