PerformaBe Series
With an all-new Beryllium tweeter as the basis of the PerformaBe Series, the result is incomparable to its rivals. It delivers a clear sense of space and uncoloured precision from the speakers. ‘Be’ being short for Beryllium on the periodic table which is a very strong and rare metal. Its physical properties are perfect for high-frequency transducers. Compared to other metals used to build tweeters like aluminium and titanium, Beryllium offers 4.5 times the stiffness and 3 times more damping, all whilst being extremely lightweight for an extremely efficient and precise performance.
M126Be
The M126Be are bookshelf speakers are elegant and powerful in a small package. Featuring a 6.5-inch deep ceramic composite (DCC) aluminium cone with cast frame (acting as the Low-frequency driver ) and a 1″ Beryllium dome with acoustic lens waveguide (acting as the High-frequency driver).
The DCC element to the low-frequency driver helps reduce the amount of compression that occurs with every wavelength thus increasing the dynamic range of the audio being outputted in addition to dramatically reducing the distortion. The speakers are available in a choice of four high-gloss finishes for seamless integration into any décor: Black, White, Walnut or Metallic Silver making it a stylish elegant speaker that will seamlessly blend in to any bookshelf or desktop space.
F226BE
The F226BE is a compact, floor-standing speaker. Featuring the range standard 1-inch (25mm) beryllium tweeter driven by massive 85mm dual ceramic magnets. The Mid-Range is looked after by a 5-1/4″ DCC transducer while the low-range utilises two 6.5″ DCC low-frequency transducers – turning this compact floor standing unit into a powerful, dynamic piece of kit. The DCC cones combine with optimised motor magnets to deliver improved mid- and low-frequency performance.
F228Be
The F228Be is a powerful 3-way dual 8-inch floor-standing loudspeaker that sets a new world standard in performance. Having identical elements as the F226 in terms of high and mid range components the low-end component on the F288 has been bulked up and now features dual 8″ Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) woofers. Making the F228 a powerful and punchy speaker capable of filling the largest of rooms in the house. Available in either High-gloss Black, White, Walnut or Metallic Silver the speaker doesn’t just sound stunning it looks it too.
F328Be
The F328Be is the flagship floor-standing speaker of the Revel PerformaBe range. The speaker has a 6th-generation ceramic-coated, cast-aluminium Acoustic Lens waveguide. This flawlessly integrates with the midrange driver which increases efficiency and allows the wasted potential energy to be used up more efficiently. Featuring the same high and mid-range elements as the previous models, the bass elements have been upgraded. The F328 features three 8″ Deep Ceramic Composite aluminium cones for sub frequencies making it the ultimate in the range in terms of sheer power and performance and outstanding in its class of floor standing speakers.
Other Models in the Revel PerformaBe range
The range also includes the B110v2 which is a 10″ subwoofer and a B112v2 which is a 12″ powered subwoofer – this supplements the existing range well and add that depth and sub harmonic elements that the smaller models lack. In addition, the C426be is a centre style speaker set up in a 3-way configuration perfect for a home cinema set up.
