There are so many beautiful floorstanding loudspeakers to chose from these days, sometimes it’s hard to narrow it down to which is the right one for you.  You know your budget, you know your style… but where do you go from there? When it comes to high fidelity, value for money is key. It’s possible to spend a lot of money and not get as much as you’d like in terms of sound quality. And we hate it just as much as you when that happens! So when a pair of loudspeakers come along that scream good value, we like to scream about them too.

And on that note, we would like to draw your attention to the jaw-dropping Tannoy Precision 6.2. Precision by name, precision by nature (and we’re not the first to make that observation!), the amount of focused detail these stunners project is quite extraordinary. And for a relatively meagre £1700, there isn’t much out there that will beat these in terms of what you get for the price point.

This impressive detailing is achieved with a blending of Tannoy’s Duel Concentric drivers, a 25mm titanium dome tweeter and dedicated 13cm bass drivers which provide enough oomph to stand up to both music and cinema. This combined with the curved cabinets means the sound is beautifully layered and textured, with a fantastic sonic image. You’ll be shocked at how good they sound, whether you’re using them for bass-heavy tracks or vocal heavy cinema – or everything in between. Balance is incredibly important, and the beautifully precise 6.2s embody their name spectacularly.
