Cinema DSP HD3

Cinema DSP HD3 was created by merging real sound field data using state of the art technology for signal processing. This feature allows the receiver to recreate sound fields similar to those found in concert halls, movie theatres or acoustic focussed venues all in the comfort of your own home. Experience audio playback from up to 11 channels by combining front, centre and surround sound speakers to create the mindblowing effect of a rear speaker.

Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos is featured in each AV receiver within the range. Dolby Atmos sound is designed to deliver extraordinary realism and unbelievably accurate detail to your home theatre. The Yamaha AV Receivers provide several placement pattern options which support Dolby Atmos audio playback. YPAO technology featured in the Aventage range also supports Dolby Atmos spatial localisation.

DTS:x

DTS:X intelligent multi-dimensional sound technology places the audio from your favourite movies, music and tv shows exactly where it would be in real life, resulting in an even more life-like experience from your home cinema. With DTS:X, there’s no need for specific speakers to achieve this astounding result.

YPAO

Each model in the Aventage range features YPAO technology. Each model features YPAO R.S.C and Multipoint but the RX-A4A, RX-A6a and RX-A8a also include 3D and High Precision EQ. This feature cleverly understands speaker connections and utilises that data to measure the distance between the listener and the speaker, and then adjusts the speaker settings to be compatible with the acoustics of the room, resulting in a tailored made, best possible performance from your speakers in their unique environment.

Updated Mechanical Structure

The newly updated mechanical structure features an internal layout that is symmetrical and designed to ensure that each board has the shortest signal paths possible. The H cross-frame ensures extreme stability in both sound and physical attributes as well as deterring vibration, resulting in wonderful sound clarity.

HDR10 and 8K/60Hz, 4K/120 Hz

The HDR10+ feature signals the dynamic range of your movie or tv show content scene by scene. It also uses an acute amount of metadata to deliver bright and dark characteristics to ensure the original detail remains in each scene. End to end 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz is supported in the Aventage range, a single upgraded cable enables an incredibly immersive, sharp visual experience while enjoying your favourite movies and TV shows.
