Acoustic Energy AE100 Mk2 speakers have been designed to be a compact bookshelf loudspeaker that achieves high sound pressures from a small design. With a punchy bass, crisp tweeter and stylish design, the AE100 Mk2 are an ideal speaker for your home.
Bass
The AE100 Mk2 has been designed with the aim of creating high levels of sound pressure within a small enclosure. To achieve this a high force long-throw motor system has been built within the AE100 Mk2’s 130mm mid-bass drive unit. The performance of the Bass itself has been augmented using a slot-shaped duct which allows for a considerable cross-section area, meanwhile negating any issues with air turbulence.
Tweeter
The AE100 Mk2’s tweeter is 25mm and a soft dome that has been built with Acoustic Energy’s Wide Dispersion Technology. This technology completes the driver compliment and has been housed in a 15mm HDF cabinet.
Design
The design for the AE100 Mk2 is inspired by Acoustic Energy’s award-winning 500 series. You can choose from a choice of satin, white, walnut or black vinyl veneer finishes.
