Excellent Build
The Metik Achromatic cable uses Atlas’ cold-weld jack plugs that are solder-free for a continuous signal path. It also uses precision copper-alloy contacts with a PTFE insulation to prevent interference from affecting the audio quality.
Atlas Jack Plugs
Atlas’ Jack plugs deliver a measurable difference over lower quality basic jack plugs as they typically have a degraded signal integrity, mainly because of their low-grade components, soldered connections and/or screw fixings which distort the cable dielectric.
