Product Description
Audio Technica AT-LPW40WN turntable has been designed to provide optimal high-fidelity audio reproduction from vinyl using a fully manual, belt-drive turntable design. The AT-LPW40WN comes in a simulated walnut veneer, Audio Technica have used anti-resonance MDF (medium density fiberboard) as the turntables shell to limit low-frequency acoustic feedback. Additionally, a sensor monitor motor has been designed to ensure accurate platter rotation speeds at 33-1/3 and 45RPM .
Carbon Fiber Tonearm
The AT-LPW40WN comes with a straight carbon-fiber tonearm with an adjustable trackforce. The headshell is an AT-HS4 universal ½“-mount with an AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge. The AT-VM95E has been designed to showcase Audio Technica’s 50 years of high-quality cartridge design. The cartridge comes with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus and is compatible with any VM995 series replacement stylus which offers an extensive choice of options for different budgets and desired application.
Additional Features
The AT-LPW40WN comes with a detachable dual RCA output cable, a built-in selectable phono preamp and the turntable is equipped with adjustable dynamic anti-skate control. The turntables platter is die-cast aluminium and is manufactured to a professional anti-resonance standard. The carbon-fiber tonearm comes with a hydraulically damped lift control and lockable rest and a built in switchable phono pre-amplifier for phono or line-level output while a AC adapter handles AC/DC conversion outside the chassis to reduce noise.
