Vibration Stabilising Design

ATHENA DCT++ is the first ever Black Rhodium Loudspeaker cable to debut the GN LEGACY VS-1 Vibration Stabiliser. This feature has been specifically designed to minimise audible cable distortion by lessening the effects of vibrations travelling through the conductor wires, so maintaining a high sound performance.

Performance Enhancing Cryogenic Treatment

ATHENA DCT++ is treated with Black Rhodium's advanced DCT++cryogenic processing treatment. The DCT++process edits the molecular structure of the cable in order to improve uniformity. This brings long-lasting benefits and quite simply, improves every aspect of the cable's performance.

Crystal Sound Process

In addition to DCT++ ATHENA DCT++ is also treated with the Crystal Sound Process. 

The Crystal Sound process is applied to the cable after the completed DCT++ process and works to refocus the most external conductor skin. As a result, the surface of the conductor closely packed and uniform, with a continuity which helps conduction.

With the Crystal Sound process, bass notes are demonstrably enhanced the overall sound clarity is improved.

Reduced Noise and Distortion

Connected in opposite directions, ATHENA DCT++ uses two silver plated copper cores for positive and negative signal flows. Black Rhodium's listening tests have demonstrated that this connection lowers the noise floor between the musical notes, which intensifies silences in the interval between musical notes.
The model uses silicone rubber insulation because its low dielectric loss offers extremely low distortion.

ATHENA DCT++ is double coated in a sophisticated jet black outer nylon braid that gives the cable a sleek look, topped off with glossy Black Rhodium directional heat shrink labels to give the cable the perfect finish it deserves.
