Vibration Stabilising

Featuring the GN LEGACY VS-1 Vibration Stabiliser that was introduced for the first time in the Athena DCT++ CS loudspeaker cable, the vibration stabiliser of the Duet DCT++CS has been specially designed to reduce audible cable distortion by restricting the vibration effects travelling through the conductor wires.
Advanced Cryogenic and Crystal Sound Processing for a Superior, High Impact Sound.

DUET DCT++CS BiWire is treated with advanced DCT++cryogenic processing treatment, which involves temperature processing above and below room temperature. The DCT++ process alters the molecular structure of the cable to improve uniformity. This brings an improvement to every aspect of the cables performance.

Crystal Sound Process

In addition to this, the cable is also treated with the Crystal Sound Process which is applied to the cable following the completed DCT++ process and refocuses the outermost skin of the conductor. The result is a more closely packed and regular conductor surface with a continuity aiding conduction through removal of voids left by the drawing process. The main benefits of the Crystal Sound process is that bass notes sound more powerful and refined and other notes will have greater clarity in their sound.

Low Transient Phase Distortion

DUET DCT++ CS BiWire gives a very clear diction of a singer’s voice and isolates musical instruments remarkably through a dramatic reduction of ‘Transient Phase Distortion’ by using a thicker insulation than usual. This increases the distance between conductors and reduces the magnetic field seen in each conductor wire creating a clearer and more open sound quality.

Anti RFI / EMI Technology

DUET DCT++ CS BiWire is continuously twisted along its length to prevent it from acting as a loop aerial or attracting RFI/EMI signals generated from Radio, Wifi, Mobile Phones and even central heating systems. Extra RFI/EMI filtering is also applied directly to the conductor wire preventing high frequency noise modulating the signal at either end of the cable. These are designed to further reduce the amount of audible distortion in the cable, allowing cleaner, clearer sounds to be generated from your equipment.

Advanced Manufacturing Techniques

Two silver plated copper cores are used for positive and negative signal flows. These are connected in opposite directions to lower the noise floor between musical notes for ‘blacker’ silences in the interval enhancing reproduction of the musical edges and natural decays in music.

Silicone rubber insulation is used due to its low dielectric loss ensuring extremely low distortion due to dielectric absorption effects in which sound energy is absorbed in the insulation and released at a later interval of time to create highly audible time-smearing distortion.

Rhodium Plated Award Winning Connectors

Terminated with ultra-high quality Rhodium Plated ‘Universal’ Banana Plugs, the award winning plugs are used as they have been specially designed to accommodate cables of widely varying size, a feature that makes them instantly suitable for BiWire cables. DCT++ and Crystal Sound Treated Connectors are exclusively available on Black Rhodium terminated cables.

Rhodium plating is applied to the plugs to ensure a cleaner and less corroded contact is maintained between the plug and socket and its effect a much livelier and more exciting sound from the music.
