Product Description
Blue Horizon Spike Shoes MkII are a set of completely re-designed spike shoes with a 3-part resonance control system to improve the sound performance of floor and stand-mount speakers plus any other audio equipment.
What do they do?
The Spike Shoes MkII protects your floor from damage when heavy audio equipment is installed. Due to the materials used, they also control resonance. They will suppress resonance from travelling up the equipment and interfering with the audio performance.
Construction
Blue Horizon’s Spike Shoes MKII are made with machined stainless steel outer casings that are filled with what the manufacture calls a ‘chaotic cork mix and rubber mix’. This combination of materials is said to cancel out resonances across the full frequency spectrum. Divots are placed in the centre to secure the spikes.
