Speaker Cable Termination - Michell Engineering
Most speaker cables are supplied "off the reel" by the metre. The easiest way to connect these to your speakers is to strip the outer sleeve at each end and use bare wire. However this doesn't provide the best connection and as "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link", we recommend using proper speaker plugs, which can be either 4mm banana plugs (the most common type of speaker connector), spades or BFA plugs.
