Chord Sarsen is Chord's newest innovation in speaker cables. Supplied in a 100m reel it is designed to be a discreet cable with an impressive performance.
High Quality Components
The Chord Company have really mastered the art of discretion as this is a truly subtle speaker cable. Sarsen speaker cables uses an innovative mix of components to produce a high performance speaker cable with a diameter of less than 4mm.
The Sarsen speaker cable is constructed with multi-stranded oxygen free copper arranged in a twisted pair configuration. It also features FEP insulation, a type of PTFE.
Insulation and Design
FEP insulation slightly differs from the usual PTFE insulation that Chord use, as it is more suited for these un-plated copper conductors like the Sarsen. High Purity OFC is not only more hard-wearing and long lasting, it also has a higher conductivity level and is able to work well with low frequency sounds.
The combination of the FEP and OFC in the Sarsen contribute to an improved performance in your home cinema system, with more detail and dynamics.
