The PSU-XR employs the largest Toroidal transformer, ever used in Cyrus Audio’s products to date, and is coupled with advanced load management circuits to deliver a huge amount of power.
Three Different Supplies
Cyrus Audio’s PSU XR is able to provide the exact power requirements to three different circuits, and enhance the performance of any XR product it is used with.
Separated Ground for Cleaner Sound
In order to preserve the purity of the power to all three circuits, the PSU XR uses advanced, microprocessor controls, relay switching, with each power section using completely separate grounds, which helps eliminate the possibility of system noise being transferred from each section.
Digitally Addressed Voltages
The Cyrus PSU-XR power supply upgrade connects with the host-product via the 15pin bus lead, which determines the exact voltage requirements needed for of the various circuits so it can receive the appropriate power. With the use of an 8-bit digital gate, the PSU-XR controls the output voltage to allow up to 256 different voltage steps for the output rails.
