Product Description
The Focal Electra IW 1002 is an In-Wall Speaker featuring advanced Focal technologies including the AI/Mg dome tweeter used in the Electra 100 S line. The Focal IW 1002 features high-level sound performance in both hi-fi and multichannel systems in the same way as a 2-way traditional high-end speaker would, and is designed to offer high-fidelity performance from an in-wall speaker that is akin to a full-sized loudspeaker.
The Electra IW 1002 features a magnetic levelled grille which offers total integration and is ready to be painted to fit any decor. The IW 1002 is a sealed MDF speaker exhibiting traditional speaker behaviour and delivering bass quality and linearity.
The IW 1002 features a 6.5" midbass 3rd generation W cone which is constructed from an exclusive composite sandwich to offer unequalled rigidity resulting in playback which is neutral and accurate. The Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter offers an incredibly wide bandwidth from 2.5kHz to 30kHz, which delivers pinpoint imaging and sweet, clear high frequencies. The Focal IW 1002 uses OPC filtering and phase optimal control, as well as tweeter level adjustments and wall boost control.
