For some years now I have been using a discontinued Rega EAR headphone amp with Beyerdynamic DT880 pro headphones in the 250 Ohm variant. Quite suddenly I began to find the sound fatiguing and unsatisfying to listen to and began to look for an alternative headphone amp.
Audio Affair answered emails and we spoke about possible amps on the phone. This resulted in me -- eventually! -- choosing the Graham Slee Solo SRG. It's a terrific improvement -- not least because, as they suggested might be the case, it is clear that the old Rega EAR simply wasn't powering the Beyerdynamics adequately. The sound I now hear is transformed and with use the Slee has also improved. Nearly £550 seemed an awful lot to pay but as I only listen with headphones and play records virtually every day I hoped it would be worth it. It is -- I'm delighted with the amp.

Best headphone amp I have heard well worth the price it runs my grado ps1000e and they sound amazing on it . You don't need to spend thousands on headphone amps this is used for studios to find faults with CDs so it's crystal clear and super detailed go try it you will be shocked how good it sounds . 5 stars on what hi fi and graham slee best selling headphone amp I give it 5 stars . Perfect .
