My Sonic Lab is a cartridge company that makes high performance cartridges based around their unique SH-μX high flux / high permeability core material, which is commonly referred to as a genuine breakthrough in cartridge designs within the last fifty years.

Founded by master cartridge maker Mr. Yoshio Matsudaira in 2004, My sonic Lab’s goal is to develop the ultimate dream cartridges, and it’s with the use of their SH-μX material that achieves the low internal impedance and high output performance. This reduces the amount of coil wire required to give a decent output level, and with the reduction of coil wire comes a greater low-level resolution.
