iFi Audio Go Blu Bar Portable DAC is a versatile portable choice for listening to a variety of sources via a range of headphones.
iFi Audio have taken their already legendary Go Blu portable DAC and aims for the “Gold Standard” in the headphone DAC world, which the Go Blu Bar delivers and then some.
Small but perfectly formed
As part of iFi’s quest for perfection they have brought a host of upgrades to the Go Blu bar with a supremely powerful 16 core XMOS micro controller that allows perfect processing of audio at the USB-C end which when combined with bespoke firmware allows for delivery of the cleanest audio seen to date.
Quad Filtering
One of the innovative additions to the Go Blu bar is the quad filtering options; Bit Perfect (for precise un-treated listening), Standard (slight filtering added), Minimum Phase (slight roll of filtering) and GTO (minimal filtering) all of these allow you to truly tune and hone your listening experience no matter the headphone you desire to use with it.
On The Case
The casing of the Go Blu Bar is made out of sturdy materials which are combined with physical buttons to allow you to access all the different modes for honing that perfect soundstage, combined with two output options – a 3.5 S-Balanced which gets rid of cross-talk by half and a 4.4mm balanced output that enables higher specification devices to truly take fullest advantage of the balanced circuitry.
Power & Poise
With any headphone style portable DAC power delivery is essential to the perfect listening experience as higher impedance headphones require that little bit more to drive them well, with the Go Blu bar delivering 475mW into 32ohms and 7.5V into 600ohms – meaning that no matter what you throw at the Go Blu Bar, it will keep up the pace
