Product Description
iFi Audio Neo Stream wireless streamer represents a passion project for the team at iFi - the quest for bringing the latest audio streaming technology to a streamer that comes in under £1300 without sacrificing any of the quality that sets iFi apart in the streaming world.
Proprietary Technology
A key part of the Neo Stream is the use of technology developed and harnessed in house by iFi Audio that allows for a streamlined experience without the need for extra apps or an extortionate price tag.
Custom DAC
The onboard DAC which has been custom designed and built specifically for the Neo Stream, which has a four-channel true native and impressive hi-res design that supports up to PCM 768kHz & DSD 512. All of this is powered by a 16-core XMOS processor for full MQA decoding (up to 384kHz).
Streaming Options
Neo Stream comes packed with streaming options thanks to it being Roon Ready allowing for a seamless installation into Roon software environments. Throw in support for Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, DLNA/UPnP and NAA, all of which are just the tip of the iceberg for Neo Stream making it a truly versatile streamer.
Further Options
iFi haven’t left a stone unturned on the Neo Stream for the serious audiophile with further options such as NAA operation (Network Audio Adaptor) to allow audio to be sent via Wi-Fi or Ethernet directly to the DAC without the need for processing.
LAN
As part of iFi’s quest for perfect network audio, they have included RJ45 and optical M12 networking that can support up to 10Gbps for bit-perfect audio transmission.
