Product Description
JBL 4309 speakers (pair) are compact, 2-way high-performance bookshelf loudspeakers that are designed to produce a performance with authority and accuracy, and are housed in JBL’s classic looking cabinet to add style.
Why the JBL 4309?
The JBL 4309 speakers showcases JBL’s excellent knowledge and years of expertise in speaker design with a pair of speakers that features some of JBL’s patented acoustic technologies, advanced speaker designs and is housed in JBL’s classic look.
The 4309’s are based around JBL’s patented 2410H-2 1-inch compression drivers, mated to a large format horn, paired with a 6.5" pure-pulp cone woofer and also features JBL’s patented High-Definition Imaging (HDI) horn technology and tonal adjustment.
Even Sound Everywhere
The JBL 4309’s are designed to produce an even sound across the whole listening area so you if you’re listening on or off axis you get the best sound. This is achieved with JBL’s HDI horn geometry, which provides a seamless transition between the high and low frequency drivers.
Compression Driver
JBL’s 2410H-2 compression driver is derived from JBL Professional’s D2 range of transducers. The 2410H-2 drivers are made up of a pair of lightweight, polymer, V-shaped annular diaphragms, which are designed to improve high-frequency extension by reducing diaphragm mass, reducing breakup modes and reducing distortion, which results in incredible dynamics with accurate reproduction.
Tone Control
An ultra high-frequency tonal adjuster is featured so you can adjust the sound to fit with a specific environment or to your preference. This works in conjunction with an advanced crossover network design to maximise the performance and quality of the 4309s.
Woofer Design
The 4309’s have a powerful 6.5-inch woofer that is designed to deliver a very high output with low distortion levels. The woofer incorporates a long-throw voice coil in conjunction with the symmetrical field motor design, flux stabilization ring, and copper shorting ring with a pure-pulp cone made with a lightweight, rigid diaphragm and helps to eliminate breakup.
Strong Design
JBl’s 4309 speakers are housed in a heavily braced enclosure with 18mm thick walls to provide a solid acoustic foundation. A bass reflex design with dual front-firing, computer-optimized flared ports are also included so you can install speakers in more locations without compromising sound.
Bi/Wire Connections
The 4309’s feature dual sets of gold-plated binding posts to provide you with a secure connection and also offers a choice of single-ended or bi-wire/bi-amplified connections.
