Klipsch’s R-101SW subwoofer replaces the R-100SW and has been updated and revised to deliver even better performance. R-101SW represents the dawn of a new age for the Klipsch reference series for home theatre, with a front firing 10” drive unit that is designed to give your setup some grunt.
New Driver - Same DNA
R-101SW offers up a brand-new spun copper thermoformed crystalline polymer (with similar technology found in it's bigger brother the R-121SW) that delivers a superb low frequency response whilst keeping the weight down, which has allowed Klipsch to pack the R-101SW with more technology to improve your listening experience.
The 10-inch-high performance driver delivers a fantastic response spectrum (29.5Hz to 120Hz) with a maximum output dB of 115dB which is pretty hefty for any setup. The unit is also front firing which allows you to be flexible in your approach to placement as you will get the best out of the unit in pretty much any placement.
Well Matched Crossover
The low pass crossover on the R-101SW ensures a rich and seamless blend with your other speakers in the room but truly shines when paired with Klipsch speakers to deliver you a truly immersive experience that can’t be replicated.
Digital Amplifiers
A all-digital amplifier on the R-101SW allows the unit to deliver enough power to drive the unit and to deliver true to the source sound which helps paint the perfect sonic picture in your setup (which again is enhanced further when Klipsch speakers are paired with it)
Quality Materials
Klipsch as ever have spared no expense to find the best materials for the R-101SW with a high quality ¾” MDF cabinet which has been covered with a textured wood-grain vinyl to allow for an aesthetically pleasurable appearance, that enables it to fit in any home or theatre setup.
Full Power
The engine room of the R-101SW delivers 300W of peak power (150W continuous) with line level and LFE RCA nputs to allow the unit to play nicely with any other speaker or system that you may have in your setup.
