Product Description
Klipsch R-50C centre speaker replaces the R-52C and has been updated and improved, delivering excellent performance from a compact design.
For this latest generation of centre speakers Klipsch have taken inspiration from their already immensely popular and respected reference series but added technology to take them to the next level.
Same DNA - New Technology
On the R-50C, Klipsch have packed the unit with a brand 90 ° degree by 90 ° Tractrix horn that is mated to a 1” aluminium tweeter to deliver to deliver a cleaner, crisper sound that so far hasn’t been matched or equalled by previous generations of Klipsch products (or even other brands for that matter) making the R-50C a game changer in your setup.
Distortion Gone
The LTS (Liner Travel Suspension) (again exclusive to Klipsch) minimises distortion to a point that your ear can’t tell if any distortion is occurring. An aluminium tweeter assembly is used to deliver this fantastic innovation – again allowing you to truly immerse your senses in sound.
Excellent Frequency Response
Klipsch have across the decades been known for their fantastic response values in their speakers and the R-50C is yet again no exception to this standard. A frequency response of 90Hz to 21kHz (+/-3 dB) ensures a punchy sound that will fit into any setup.
Power of this unit is fantastic too – with a power draw of 100W (continuous) & 400W (peak) mean that the R-50C is not power hungry in the slightest, allowing for a even greener setup.
Updated Crossover
The cross-over on the R-50C is designed as a tapered array – meaning that the mid-range sound is extenuated to deliver a crisper sound not just in your centre channel but out to other speakers in your setup.
Improved Design
The R-50C has been designed with the modern room in mind, thanks to it's sleek and un-intrusive appearance of sleek black with a woodgrain vinyl finish. The body of the R-50C allows it to fit in with the slimmest of televisions to ensure your watching the picture not the R-50C.
