Product Description
Klipsch RP-440D SB is a premium 3-channel passive LCR soundbar. It uses the same acoustic technology as Klipsch’s well-acclaimed Reference Premiere Box speaker line but housed in a slim, on-wall solution with a classy matte finish.
The RP 440D soundbar has 3 times 1” Tractrix Horn loaded, titanium dome linear travel suspension tweeters and 4 times 3.5” Cerametallic woofers, it is an ideal choice for minimalist-designed acoustics.
Tractrix Horn Tweeters
The RP-440D SB has three 1” tweeters that have been designed to excellently disperse the highs to the ideal locations and produce clear and sparkling highs. The Tweeters have Tractrix Horns and LTS (Linear Travel Suspension).
Klipsch’s Tractrix horn geometry aims to improve high-frequency response and distribute high frequencies towards the listening space for a cleaner and more realistic sound.
Linear Travel Suspension
Linear Travel Suspension optimises dynamics to reveal a more detailed performance. LTS tweeters are also used in Klipsch’s high-end Premiere Reference Box lines to get the same effect.
Cerametallic Woofers
The RP 440D soundbar has four 3.4” Cerametallic woofers. This technology represents the top-quality innovation of Klipsch driver designs. They have exceptional rigidity and a lightweight construction for minimal cone breakup and distortion, the perfect counterpart to the highly developed tweeters.
Elegant and Practical Design
The RP-440D SB comes in a matte black finish with the 4 gold woofers on show. An optional black front grill is provided that attaches magnetically to suit your desired taste.
It can either be mounted on the wall, by using the dual four-way keyholes that can either be mounted vertically or horizontally, to fit nicely with your wall mounted TV, or it can be stood up with the included glass base that provides a table-top or bookshelf option.
