Product Description
Klipsch RP-6000F II speakers are the mid-sized floorstanding loudspeakers in Klipsch’s latest Reference Premier range. This updated II speaker features new technology along with the best features of the first generation, resulting in an excellent loudspeaker and real sweet spot in the range – more compact than the RP-8000F II but with greater bass extension over the RP-5000F.
New Horn Technology
The horn on the RP-6000F II represents the next generation in Klipsch’s design with the use of 90° by 90° Tractrix silicon composite horn material which is robust but is when combined with Tractrix geometric design allows the high frequency waves to travel in the most optimum way to your ear.
Titanium Tweeter
RP-6000F II features a 1-inch titanium tweeter that harnesses the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) system which eliminates distortion whilst retaining the sound that the original generation that gave the Reference Premiere its high status.
Combining this with a vented design allows for unwanted waves to be passed through and away from the listening surface further enhancing your listen.
Cerametallic Woofer
An element to the second generation RP-6000F II is the use of Klipsch’s proprietary Cerametallic technology that makes the dual 6.5” woofers rigid but retains that punchy Klipsch undertone that we have come to expect from the Reference Premier series.
Bi-Wiring
The option to Bi-Wire the RP-6000F II is available to those who want to segregate the sound signal to reduce intermodulation distortion which creates an even clearer mid-range.
Getting ATMOS
On the RP-6000F II, you can take advantage of Dolby ATMOS which aids in a setup that demands as little wiring as possible by using the hidden ports on the rear of the units to connect to the RP-500SA II (available separately).
