Product Description
Klipsch RP-8000F II speakers are the flagship floorstanders in Klipsch’s new Reference Premier series of loudspeakers.
This new range improves these loudspeakers with new technology and materials to elevate them to a level of performance you really need to hear to fully appreciate.
New Horn Technology
The horn on the RP-8000F II represents the pinnacle of Klipsch’s design efforts with the introduction of 90° by 90° Tractrix silicon composite materials.
These are both strong but also designed to take full advantage of the Tractrix geometric design that allows the high-frequency waves to travel in the most optimum way to your ear.
Matched up with the use of Silicon composite allows for a clean and crisp sound that is the hallmark of the 2022 Reference Premier series.
Titanium Tweeter
RP-8000F II features a 1-inch titanium tweeter that harnesses the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) system which minimises distortion whilst retaining the sound of the previous generation RP-8000F.
Klipsch have combined this with a vented design, which allows for unwanted waves to be passed through and away from the listening surface further enhancing your listening experience.
Cerametallic Woofer
An all-new element to the second generation RP-8000F II is the use of Klipsch’s proprietary Cerametallic technology that makes the dual 8” woofers stronger and more rigid than before but retaining that punchy Klipsch undertone that we have come to expect from the Reference Premier series.
Bi-Wiring
The option to Bi-Wire the RP-8000F II is available to those want to segregate the sound signal into low & high frequencies which reduces intermodulation distortion and is designed to create an even clearer mid-range and distinction between frequencies.
Getting ATMOS
On the RP-8000F II, you also via a hidden connection on the rear of the speaker have the option to upgrade the speakers to take advantage of Dolby ATMOS with the RP-500SA II (available separately) to keep wiring as neat as possible.
