Product Description
Leak Stereo 130 Integrated Amplifier employs latest technologies while retaining the same philosophy that the Stereo 30 was built upon in 1963. It is fully equipped to meet the demands of modern music lovers, from vinyl records to digital streaming.
Leak Stereo 130
Leak Stereo 130 integrated amplifier is built for modern audio enthusiasts and designed to perfectly pair with a broad range of analogue and digital sources. The built-in MM phono pre-amplifier allows for direct connection to record players.
Leak HiFi Legacy
When Leak launched the iconic Stereo 30, it swiftly became Britain’s favourite ‘step-up’ from standard budget amplifiers of the time. Now, Leak harnesses the latest technology to deliver a new affordable integrated amplifier.
Stream music to the Stereo 130 from any Bluetooth device such as portable music players and smartphones via built-in aptX and AAC codec. Enjoy CD-quality wireless audio over Bluetooth.
Reference Quality
Much effort has been made to ensure the Leak Stereo 130's digital circuitry delivers the level of quality expected of a high-performance standalone DAC, let alone an integrated amplifier.
Designed in line with the Leak ethos of performance, reliability and craftsmanship, the Leak Stereo 130 matches contemporary performance with classic styling.
No Compromise Performance
Using the acclaimed ES9018 Sabre32 Reference chip with 32-bit HyperStream module and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator, Leak Stereo 130 offers ultra-low noise and high dynamic range with a sample rate of up to 284kHz (PCM) and DSD256.
For Headphone Users
Leak Stereo 130 has a dedicated amplifier circuit with current-feedback technology for the headphones output. The performance is equal to standalone headphone amplifiers that are beyond the price-class of this system. The high slew rate results in high-speed output signal transition resulting in a dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with any type of headphone.

I bought the Leak Stereo 130/CDT Transport along with the Warfedale Linton Heritage as a package a week before Christmas. The packaging of the units was first class and the build quality is very good for price point. In the flesh the retro 1960s looks really nice and I couldn’t help playing music from the same period. It’s plus points that for low level late night listening it sounds really pleasant with a pleasing slightly warm tone. This is an amp to play all music , all genres and differing sound quality. On the down side ,For me and this may be down to my room , it doesn’t like being turned up loud, it doesn’t distort but a little bit shouty. This week I paired it up with my Quad 405 power with the Leak as a Pre amp and now the system is more convincing and fills out the room with confidence. This may be just down to me as I used to using powerful amplifiers.
If you like just listening to music & do not wish to get hung up on the audiophile stuff this is a worthy contender. It’s not one for a rave party but for enjoyable relaxed listen in small rooms it’s highly recommended. You will never get bored of those 1960s which gives you pride of ownership and doesn’t go into silly audiophile money territory. -

We were looking for a new Amplifier for the front room and wanted something retro to fit with the look of the room. The Leak looks great, but sounds even better. We have it paired with Wharfedale Denton 85's and the Leak CDT and I've been really impressed over the past 4 weeks. It's not neutral, just a little warm but the lows are great and the highs are not too rolled off. At this price point I think that the music fidelity M2Si is a good comparison sound wise, but that doesn't have a phono stage or bluetooth.
