Mark Levinson No 585.5 Digital Audio Player is a fully discrete integrated amp that delivers an excellent audio performance for you digital and analogue music sources. The No 585.5 has a pure path phono preamp for connection to a MC and MM phono cartridges and Precision Link DAC for the best connection to digital sources.

Mark Levinson’s No. 585.5 features a built in premium Precision Link DAC that is designed to reproduce audio signals with accuracy, detail and with extremely minimal noise. The Precision Link DAC is perfect for your digital audio sources!
Powerful, Dynamic and Distortion Free
With an oversized toroidal transformer and massive capacitors, the No. 585.5 can provide all the headroom you need, allowing you to push the volume with plenty of headroom and next to no distortion. The no.585.5 is powerful, clear and detailed.
Hi-Res Power Amp
The power amp section runs in class A/B and can power even the most demanding of speakers. The power amp produces a powerful and hi res audio performance, without distortion or noise.

Phono Inputs
You can connect a turntable directly to the 585.5 integrated amp as it has inputs for both MC and MM phono cartridges. This is perfect as it doesn’t require you to have an external phono preamp. The MC section has three gain settings and ten resistive cartridge-loading settings, and the MM section has a fixed gain with five capacitive cartridge-loading settings.
R-2R Ladder Volume
The No 585.5 uses Mark Levinson’s unique R-2R ladder volume control to allow the digital audio player to keep a consistent volume at any level, with balance and clarity.
Remote Control
The No 585.5 comes with an aluminium remote control, which allows you to control functions like play/pause, volume and more advanced controls such as EQ and system functions. And whilst in SSP mode, you can allow your system processor to control the speakers powered by the 585.5.
