M5si Connections
The M5si comes equipped with multiple connections for playback of your choice. It features an asynchronous USB input for connecting to computer devices and enjoying high quality digital music playback at home, up to and including 24 bits, 96kHz sampling rate. Internally the M5si is configured as two independent mono-blocs with a separate preamp, but all mounted on one PCB.

Fortunate enough to have a conversation with Heinz Lichtenegger (who recently acquired Musical Fidelity, he convinced me that I was merely "tickling" my speakers with a Cambridge AV. No surprise that he was spot on. It is a gorgeous piece of engineering. Simple to set up, minimalist in appearance, and...it sings. -

This is an astonishingly good amplifier. no bells or whistles, but great engineering, power and a beautiful sound. Looks great also.
I am driving a pair of PMC Twenty5.23 floorstanders, fed by SOtM sms200 ultra neo streamer and Chord Qutest dac and the authority, power and detailed sound, plus the lack of tiring edginess or brightness is simply captivating. I haven't stopped listening to it since getting it.
The internal dac, though 'only' 24/96 has a brilliant and dynamic sound, don't be fooled by it's seemingly low resolution. It is my preferred dac for most listening. I only need the Chord for CD, TV etc as the amp has only the USB i/p for digital. Highly recommend this amplifier.
