Product Description
Naim NAIT 5si is the latest incarnation of Naim's popular entry-level Nait 5i, which now features increased power output thanks to a larger toroidal transformer and improved power supply.
Improvements
Naim have also improved the components utilised in the NAIT 5si - making critical improvements and upgrades to the power amp stage, main circuitboard and wiring loom. Decades have passed, but the role of the NAIT 5si is fundamentally the same as its original forebear. So the engineering challenge - to maximise performance whilst maintaining engineering efficiency, quality and reliability - hasn't changed.
Amplifier Technology
Amplifier technology has moved on considerably however, and while the NAIT 5si occupies the same position in the Naim range as the original NAIT, its performance might be from a different world. The NAIT 5si provides four analogue inputs and a 60 Watt per channel power amplifier. It features a new headphone amplifier and borrows numerous technologies from across the spectrum of Naim products; all dedicated towards maximising its ability to communicate the fundamentals of music. The NAIT 5si brings clarity, engaging dynamics and, most of all, infectious enthusiasm to every music source and genre.
We are here to help find the right system for you. As a suggested starting point, you may want to consider partnering the NAIT 5si with the following:

Press Reviews
-
Best stereo amplifier £800-£1500, Awards 2013. An assured performer, which offers detail, precision and energy by the bucketload... It might not always be the smoothest of listens, and some may find its fairly minimal input count or lack of phono stage offputting, but the drive and attack the Naim Nait 5si puts into your music is no mean feat, and makes it nothing short of a gem for the this end of the market.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine)

'The 5Si provides an excellent portrayal of instruments at the frequency extremes. The Nait 5Si's presentation subtly augments the relevance of the music and enhances its effect upon the listener in a truly captivating way.'(What Hi-Fi Magazine Awards October 2013)
-
'Superb musical fluency that befits a far more expensive, sophisticated design... high end performance and will drive quite demanding loudspeakers with ease.' (Hi-Fi Choice Magazine, December 2013)
-
'LIKE: The sound that made Naim famous; build; design... Not many features, but one of the great-sounding £1k integrated amps.' (Hi-Fi Choice Magazine February 2017)
-
'It’s almost uncanny the way the Nait 5si instantly makes you think more about the music and less about the recording. Although its presentation is amply detailed, it’s far from the most forensic amp in the group, but it’s definitely the one with the shortest path to ‘the groove’, wherever it might be found.' (Hi-Fi Choice Magazine February 2017)
