Product Description
Pro-Ject Replacement Turntable Sub-Platter sits beneath the main platter (where the record sits and rotates) and propel it around. The sub-platter is directly attached to the motor by the drive belt on such players, and it sits within an inverted main bearing, lined with a lubricant to aid friction-free rotation - reducing resonance and drag.
The sub-platter option is used on a number of popular Pro-Ject turntables. There are a variety of different sub platters used on different Pro-Ject turntables.
