PS Audio BHK 250 stereo power amplifier handles any even some of the most demanding loudspeakers. It delivers 250 watts in 8Ohms, 500 into 4 Ohms and more than 1,000 watts into 2 Ohms. Zero-Loss Input

Incorporating both vacuum tubes and MOSFET's means the BHK 250 benefits from the best traits from each. The combination means that both disciplines fill in for where the other lacks in performance. The MOSFET section can handle power without the need for additional circuitry like tube power amps require. Additionally, as the input stage does a good job preserving the fine details in music, the textures, timing and phase information and transfers this with no loss to the power stage, the MOSFET does the best job at handling the loudspeakers.
