Q Acoustics 3020i Speakers are a dynamic bookshelf speaker pair designed to deliver a deep, punchy and accurate sound, ideal for small to medium sized rooms. Upgraded from the 3000 range, the 3000i has improved speaker and cabinet designs to produce even better quality.
Ultimate Stereo Image
Precise matching of components and prolonged listening tests have been taken out to ensure partnering devices do not detract from the musical performance to deliver an excellent stereo image.
Great Design
For a deep and punchy bass, the cabinet has a depth measuring identical to its height to achieve the most from it’s small size. Terminal cut-out panels, typically found on conventional speakers were removed, to lead to advanced structural integrity. The binding posts are discrete and have been fitted with deep sockets to accept 4mm Banana Plugs.
Considerate Design
If you are listening in a less than perfect room, foam bungs are supplied for the rear-facing ports that help with less than ideal room positioning. The bass level can also be reduced to compensate for non-ideal room positioning.
P2P Bracing
Q Acoustics’ Point to Point (P2P) bracing adds tension to the cabinet to provide rigidity and to improve the stereo imagery and soundstage accuracy.
Driver Array
The 22mm High-Frequency micro-fibre soft dome tweeters create a wide, even dispersion of stereo. They are decoupled from the baffle by a compliant suspension system. They are separated from the woofer to stop any unwanted vibrations from the woofer interfering with the tweeter. The cones are precisely formed from impregnated and coated paper and teamed with a low-hysterics, rubber surround.
Sleek Aesthetics
The 3020i is available in four finishes, Graphite Grey, Carbon Black, English Walnut and Arctic White. They are finalised with an attractive chromed bezel surrounding each driver, and come with a removable magnetic grille so you can have whichever look you desire.
3000i Series
The 3000i Series is an upgrade of the 3000 Series, with improvements in both sonic performance and aesthetics. They mix innovative loudspeaker technology with intricate cabinet designs to provide the listener with a more dynamic loudspeaker.
