Compatibility
You can add these to upgrade your exsisting Q7000 package from a 5.1 to 7.1 system, or alternatively as fantastic desktop speakers to use with a suitable desktop amplifier or any amplified music system that includes speaker outputs.
Driver Details
These slim, stylish speakers feature small 7.5cm ultra long throw mid/bass drivers coupled with a 25mm Neodymium magnet ring radiator tweeter, but they sound they create is far from small. Remember, these speakers are designed to create a big sound within a surround sound set-up and they do not disappoint!
Components
To achieve their elegant appearance, the infinite baffle enclosures of the Q Acoustics 7000i LR are cast in aluminium and damping materials are applied internally to eliminate any cabinet resonances. State-of-the-art lightweight coated paper was selected for the cone material because, combined with a rubber surround, it enables the speaker to deliver a wide dynamic range, very low distortion and ultra-fast transients.
Ring Radiator Tweeter
The outstanding dispersion characteristic of the advanced tweeter design creates a wonderfully three dimensional sound stage for both music and home cinema, as well as delivering very smooth and detailed high frequencies.
Setup/ Positioning
These speakers include adjustable, integral table stands in the same finish which can be configured as either wall brackets or ceiling brackets while the speaker terminals on the base are neatly concealed for a clever cable management and a clean, tidy set-up.
