QED Performance Active UHD HDMI with ethernet cable is designed to offer high end features and performance over longer cables from 8-15m in length. It isn't always possible to use a shorter length cable, and until recently, achieving support for 3D, Deep Colour or 4K resolution over longer distances has been troublesome or requrired external power supplies. Featuring QED's famous build and design quality, as well as a lifetime warranty!
The Performance Active HDMI is a high quality brand new design concept using Active Filter Technology to deliver all these high end features over longer runs. A dedicated integrated circuit especially developed to provide High Speed data performance over long cable runs is built unobtrusively into the head shell of each cable.

ACTIVE FILTER TECHNOLOGY
Special active electronics built discreetly into the head shell that are designed to extend the High Speed performance of the cable to 15m. It is so discreetly done in fact that the head shell has to be marked so that the cable is always installed the correct way around with the Active Filter at the “display” end.
The signal is filtered to remove unwanted components of the signal above and below the required frequency band and the remaining signal is amplified to the original level. This means that features such as 3D, 4K and Deep colour can be enjoyed over long distances.
VERY LOW JITTER
Performance Active HDMI measures at less than 50ps of jitter, significantly reducing the incidence of bit errors reaching the TV and maximising the audio and video data transfer.
