Product Description
QED Performance Audio 40i RCA Interconnects are an updated version of the Audio 40 cable built with QED Solid Complementary Conductor Technology and Anamate RCA plugs.
These features help deliver a three dimensional sound and are available at a cost effective price to be enjoyed by all. The Audio 40i RCA Interconnects are available in four lengths; 0.6m, 1m, 2m and 3m.
Solid Complementary Conductor technology
The Audio 40i utilises two solid oxygen free copper conductors of different diameters to carry the audio. With the use of two separate conductors, the audio signal becomes less compromised as it might usually do with just a single audio route. Resulting in sound that can be enjoyed at a greater scale with improved three-dimensionality.
Anamate RCA plugs
Anamate RCA plugs with gold-plated copper conductors give the interconnects the low-resistance needed to deliver enormous sonic results and a much greater results and longevity than unplated copper on its own. RCA plugs help deliver an accurate audio signal transmission.

Connecting my Marantz cd player to my Audioengine 5+ wireless speakers with this interconnect I was really taken aback to how great was the improvement over the manufacturer supplied item. I have experienced improvements in previous hi-fi systems I had previously owned. But this was of a greater magnitude altogether. As if the Audioengine speakers were not superlative enough. Now I was hearing a greater depth and transparency to whatever musical genre I was playing along with an added realism to whatever instrument was being played. Another QED stunner !
